Here are some common questions we receive from our first time clients...
Q: When should I book my clown/ entertainer?
A: Clowns to go is growing very quickly and being recognized all over the city, so we highly recommend you to book up to one month in advance to ensure a clown or any other form of entertainment offered.
Q: How long should I have the clown/ entertainer at my party?
A: It all depends on the amount of children that will be in attendance at your party. We usually recommend one hour for 10-15 kids, an hour an a half 20-25 kids, and two hours about up to 30 kids. All of this is listed of course on our prices page which you can view by clicking here. Keep in mind if you book your clown longer than needed they might finish all the activities before the time is up, however; many of our clowns are innovative and can come up with traditional games to play with the kids, such as “red light green light” or “Simon Says.”
Q: What is the difference between a Birthday Party Clown and a Basic Clown?
A: All of our clowns do balloons and face painting, however a basic clown will strictly only do balloons and face painting where as with the birthday party clown they will play games, and do magic or crafts. All of these selections can come as any other character other than the clown, such as princess, army man, web master, pirate, etc. Again all of this is shown on the price page.
Q: During my party, when is a good time for my entertainer/ clown to show up?
A: We suggest that you have your clown show up about one hour into the start of your party, preferably before the cake.
Q: What happens if my clown doesn’t show up? or is late?
A: All of our clowns are usually coming from other parties which are usually in various parts of the city, so if your clown is late this is usually the reason, however time is not deducted from your party. All of our clowns will tend to stay over the time that they were late, most of our clowns assure you that they will fulfill the full amount of time you ordered. If you clown never shows up, well we have various methods of making sure this never happens. This is way we send out a contract and have you review it to make sure all information is correct, address, phone number, times... etc. We also have our entertainers call and confirm with you directly, so if you don’t recieve a call the day before your party it is best to call the office.
Q: Should I tip my clown/ entertainer?
A: This is entirely up to you, if you feel you clown to a great job then feel free to tip them.
Q: Does it cost extra for my clowns/ entertainer to participate with cake and piñata?
A: There is no extra charge for your clown to participate with the cake and piñata, however it takes away from the other activities the entertainer might already have planned. If this is something you want to use for their time there then that is up to you.
Q: What’s different about Clowns to go than any other company?
A: We differentiate our selves by hiring young energetic entertainers that can keep up with the kids. We also offer a guarantee on our services or money back.
Q: What if I want to cancel my clown/ entertainer?
A: We have a cancellation policy stated on the back of all of our contracts, which is agreed upon whether or not you send back the contact signed.
